Privacy Policy

Swabbie is developed by Hudsucker Industries LLC.

Data Collection

Swabbie does not collect, store, or transmit any personal data to the developer or any third party. We have no servers, no analytics, no tracking, and no advertising.

Data Storage

All data you enter into Swabbie — including boat profiles, inventory, maintenance records, logs, and photos — is stored locally on your device and, if enabled, in your personal iCloud account via Apple's CloudKit service. The developer has no access to your iCloud data.

Third-Party Services

Swabbie uses the following services, governed by their own privacy policies:

- Apple iCloud (CloudKit) for optional device sync

- Apple MapKit for map snapshots

- OpenFoodFacts (openfoodfacts.org) for barcode product lookups

Camera and Photo Access

Swabbie requests camera access solely for barcode scanning. Photo library access is used solely to select a boat profile image. No images are transmitted off your device.

Children's Privacy

Swabbie does not knowingly collect information from children under 13.
